We are proud to present our contribution to the new building of SICANIA II, a double-ended ferry designed to deliver exceptional performance with reduced environmental impact.
XANTHIS S.A. was entrusted with the design and supply of the complete propulsion package, ensuring optimal efficiency, reliability, and compliance with the latest emissions regulations.
The hybrid propulsion system consists of:
- 4 x Baudouin 12M26.3 SER marine engines, IMO III emissions compliant
- 4 x Veth VZ900 CR VHD Azimuth Thrusters
This advanced configuration enhances fuel efficiency, manoeuvrability, and operational flexibility, contributing to the vessel’s environmentally friendly footprint.
