The WHM6160/170 medium speed engines are used as main, electric propulsion and auxiliary engines to power car/passenger ferries, bulk cargo carriers, offshore support vessel and multi-purpose ships. The higher output CW and WH20/25/28 range of medium speed engines are used as main and auxiliary engines for bigger car/passenger and cargo ships.
